To understand why cyber security is so important in today’s interconnected world, we need to take a step back and see just how prevalent the use of online services have become to us. Digital workflows and data sharing is now the norm and it can be hard to keep pace of the technological change.
The data we work on, share and store online is highly valuable and therefore susceptible to risk. People can be compromised on-line from unsuspecting emails and web sites or even just taking short cuts and this can often be the source of a data leak or accidental sharing.
